July 31, 2012. STR has devoted their Summer 2012 issue to featuring my book The Resurrection of Jesus: A New Historiographical Approach (IVP Academic, 2010). The issue contains 4 essays and a roundtable discussion. The issue may be purchased at http://www.southeasterntheologicalreview.com. It's official. I'll be joining the faculty of Houston Baptist University this August as Associate Professor in Theology. I'm very excited about this opportunity! HBU is a happening place. I'll continue to live in Atlanta and teach in Houston 5-7 weeks a year. The remainder of the time I'll continue researching, writing, and lecturing/debating on university campuses. Risen Jesus, Inc. will continue to provide the bulk of my income. But the unique teaching position at HBU will certainly help.
I was also recently interviewed by "TheBestSchools.org" web site. That interview may be viewed HERE.
My fall calendar is now completely full. Those interested in inviting me to speak are asked to consider an event for the Spring or Fall of 2013. |

Many thanks to Aaron Shelenberger who attended my debate with Stephen Patterson last year and recorded the event on his digital recorder. He recently notified me that he had the entire debate and mailed it to me! Today I converted it to MP3 and posted it in the Audio section. |

Just posted my February 2011 lecture on Jesus' resurrection at SBTS in Louisville, KY in the Audio section. This is my first podcast with professionally produced intro and extro. Many thanks to Alfonso Alvarez (Twitter: @poncois) for doing the voiceover and editing the intro and extro and to professional acoustical guitarist Trevor Gordon Hall for giving me permission to use two snippets from his new CD "Finding My Way." I can't get his music out of my head! |

Listening to a new CD from one of my favorite worship bands: Chuck Elmore: A Dove on Distant Oaks. I've ministered alongside these guys and can say they may be the most gifted bands I've experienced for leading a group into worship. |

Today I accepted an invitation from North-West University (Potchefstroom) to serve as an External Research Collaborator for their Faculty of Theology. I am honored to have received their invitation and very much enjoyed my trip there this past May. |
